We are currently reviewing our Reading Council process and looking to implement something new and exciting very soon.

The Reading Council, traditionally made up of our pupil Reading Buddies and Librarians, are responsible for helping make decisions regarding reading events and competitions within our school. 

Volunteer Readers

At Moorside, we welcome volounteers (subject to a clear 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check) from parents/ carers and grandparents to local residents and the eldery community to come and read with our children in school.

This brings a wealth of variety in reading styles and allows our children prime opportunities to read with an adult.
