Moorside Community Primary School follows ‘Salford LA’ admissions procedures and likewise parents must follow these procedures when applying for full-time education.
Nursery
Children are admitted to our Nursery class when their fourth birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August of that academic year. Places in Nursery are allocated on a full-time basis at the moment.
Reception
Children are admitted to our Reception class when their fifth birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August of that academic year. Please be aware that admission to our Nursery does not guarantee admission to the Reception class.
In Year Transfer
All parents who wish for their child to be admitted to the school are warmly invited to make an appointment to visit the school, meet the Headteacher (where possible) and look around our impressive building. It is important to emphasise that any admission requests are subject to the Salford Local Authority admission procedures and policies. As such, all applications to attend Moorside Community Primary School must go through Salford Local Authority Admissions.
