At Moorside, we strongly believe learning should not be restricted to the classroom.

Year 6 have ventured to London, our capital city. Year 5 have been to Anglesey staying at the Conway Centre and Year 4 visit the Lake District and Lledr Hall outward bounds centre on a annual basis.

Some of the places visited on school trips have included Lancashire Fusilier Museum, Rochdale Fire Museum, Recycling Centres, Lancaster Castle, Manchester Art Gallery, Imperial War Museum, The Apple Store, Heysham Power Station, Smithills Hall Farm, Chester Zoo, Tatton Park, Spaceport, Pendle, Crocky Trail, Transport Museum, Manchester's Science and Industry Museum, Salford Rugby Stadium, Eureka, Eyam, Stump Cross Caverns, The Peak District, Blackpool and Formby. To name just a few!
